Azerbaijan to increase minimal social standards in 2012

The level of need criterion in Azerbaijan for determining the amount of targeted social assistance will increase from 75 to 84 manat in 2012, the draft state budget for 2012 and the following three years, presented for consideration to the Azerbaijani parliament states.
The figure is expected to be increased up to 92 manat in 2013, up to 100 manat in 2014 and up to 106 manat in 2015.
The cost of living will be increased from the current 95 manat to 108 manat in the country next year, from 102 manat to 116 manat - for the working-age population, from 72 manat to 84 manat - for pensioners and from 76 manat to 87 manat - for children.
The minimum subsistence level is expected to be increased up to 120.2 manat in Azerbaijan in 2013, 127.7 manat in 2014 and 135.1 manat in 2015.
