The Iranian ambassador to Georgia said bilateral trade between the two countries has increased by 43 percent over the past recent years.
The ISNA news agency quoted Majid Saber as saying that the rise in trade was possible due cancelling visas between the two nations.
Four direct flights a week are currently carried out between Iran and Georgia, he added.
