Participants' interest in the Azerbaijani insurance market was noted during an annual symposium and forum of re-insurers and brokers in German Baden-Baden yesterday, Azerbaijani Association of Insurance Companies official Azer Aliyev told Trend on Monday.
The association presented the opportunities of the insurance market of the country within the forum.
"The event was dedicated to the development of insurance business in Azerbaijan," he said. "Information about the potential and opportunities of the Azerbaijani market was presented. The presentation aroused great interest. About 180-200 guests attended it."
He said these presentations increase the interest of foreign investors in the Azerbaijani market and may lead to their entry into the market in the future.
"There were also contacts between the companies on an individual level," he said.
He said that the association has no plans for these events this year.
