The Kazakh National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna has appointed a new chairman of the Board of Directors of the JSC Aktobe International Airport, the fund reported on Tuesday.
Director for transport assets management at the Samruk-Kazyna Fund and representative of the interests of the Sole Shareholder, Marat Urazbekov, was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for three years.
Based on the Samruk-Kazyna Board's decision, the number of the Board of Directors of the JSC Aktobe International Airport will be reduced from five to three. This reduction will optimize the airport's administrative expenses.
