The Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry has developed a special program for tea cultivation development, Minister Ismet Abbasov told media on Tuesday.
"We have prepared a program for the tea cultivation development," he said. It is being discussed with relevant state bodies. It will be accepted in the near future."
He added that the program will be held in regions favorable for tea cultivation.
The issuance of long-term (15 years) preferential loans to entrepreneurs engaged in tea-growing will have a positive impact on the development of Azerbaijan's agricultural sector, Deputy Agriculture Minister Bahram Aliyev said earlier.
