The economic crisis occurring in Europe will affect Georgia twice. According to the International Monetary Fund representative in Georgia Edward Gardner, the economic crisis will have a double effect on Georgia.

According to him, the whole world is entering a very difficult period, and this will have a double effect on Georgia.

The first is that the target export countries will not grow as ambitious as it was in the current year. The second effect is that the economic instability in Europe is complicating access to private capital, Gardner said today to a press conference in Tbilisi.

According to him, the IMF believes that despite the current economic crisis, Georgia's economy will grow, but not as much as in 2011. However, in 2012 Georgia will have a tendency of growth of economic development.
