Minimum subsistence level in Kazakhstan reaches $113.7 in October

The minimum subsistence level in Kazakhstan amounted to 16,804 Tenge ($113.7) in October, the Statistical Agency of Kazakhstan said, CA-News reported.

Average subsistence minimum rate per capita estimated on the basis of minimal norms of basic foodstuffs use, decreased for 0.2% in October than in the previous month. The minimum subsistence level increased by 13.9% in comparison with October 2010.

The part for meat and fish purchases was 20.8%, for fat and fermented milk products was 14.9%, for fruits and vegetables was 14.2%, for bread and wheat was 7.7%, for sugar, tea, species was 2.4% in the structure of the minimum subsistence level.

The food prices of October 2011 in comparison with October 2010 grew by 10.7%, according to the Statistical Agency.
