Azerbaijan should share its experience in the use of budget funds for housing and road construction, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergei Stepashin told journalists.
Stepashin has today attended an event marking the 10th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Accounting Chamber in Baku.
"Azerbaijan also has good experience in the effective use of the resources of its State Oil Fund (SOFAZ)," Mr. Stepashin said.
He said the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan meets all international standards and plays a significant role in international organizations.
"The Azerbaijani Accounting Chamber took place in the international sphere. So, Azerbaijan will host in 2013 the largest gathering of European and Arab Chambers of Accounting from 50 countries. Agenda Forum is not defined yet," Stepashin said.
He said Azerbaijan and Russia are working on solving the customs issues at the border.
"The Azerbaijani side creates all conditions for customs authorities at the border with Russia, but, sadly, the Dagestani side has a problem related to the activities of customs authorities. We are checking and working to prevent appearance of problems, as well as on other aspects of bilateral cooperation, " Stepashin said.
He said there is also no problem with changing the amount of rent for the Gabala radar station.
