Uzbekistan to commission new enterprises

Uzbeklegprom plans to implement two projects for the production of textile machinery until 2014, the Uzbek company told Trend on Thursday.
It is scheduled to commission the knitting equipment production together with the German company Terrot by late 2013. Its capacity will be up to 50 pieces of equipment annually. The project cost is $2 million.
Joint Venture for the production of hosiery machines with Korean TMS will be created in the Fergana region. Based on the preliminary calculations, tits capacity will be 100 pieces of equipment. The project cost is $ 3.5 million.
Uzbeklegprom reported that it is now preparing to establish joint ventures and organization of production is in its final stage. It is expected that work on the projects will be launched in the first half of 2012.
