Georgia reduces defense financing

The Georgian government has reduced financing for the Defense Ministry by 15 million lari ($1 = 1.66 lari).
The allocations for the ministry hit 690 million lari in the first version of the draft state budget for 2012. About 640 million lari were allocated to maintain and enhance the defense capability of the army. The financing is 675 million lari in the new version.
