Kazakhstan's foreign trade has grown by six times in volume over the past ten years, Kazinform reported.

"Kazakhstan supplies products to more than 120 countries. In other words, Kazakhstan is actively integrating into the global economy and working in all directions," Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Asset Isekeshev said the first international transportation and logistics business forum The Silk Road - 2011 in Astana on November 11.

Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan increased by 38 percent in January-August 2011 compared to the same period of 2010 and amounted to $79.7 billion, according to customs statistics.
Kazakh export in this period increased by 45.6 percent to $ 56.7 billion, while imports rose by 22.3 percent to $23 billion.
