An integrated approach is required to solve social problems of the population, Azerbaijani Minister of Labour and Social Protection Fizuli Alakbarov said at a meeting with a group of citizens today.

An integrated approach is required to solve social problems of the population, Azerbaijani Minister of Labour and Social Protection Fizuli Alakbarov said at a meeting with a group of citizens today.

These citizens made complaints to the ministry, the presidential office and other bodies.

"One can not solve an invalid's problem by providing him with hardship allowance," he said. "It is necessary to provide him and his family with jobs and to take other measures to help solve social problems. That is, an integrated approach is required."

He said that these meetings are regularly held in the capital and regions.
"Even if we get complaints which are not within our ministry's competence, we try to help solve these problems," he said. "All social problems of the population must be resolved."

The citizen's complaints mainly concerned the creation of disability groups. They called for to set social benefits, to resolve employment issues, labor law violations, housing.

"It is pleasant that the number of people willing to find jobs and to become active members of society has recently increased," he said.

Minister gave car keys to one veteran of World War II.
