Kazakhstan increased export of its goods to the Customs Union member countries, Kazakh Economic Development and Trade Minister Kairat Kelimbetov said today in Astana, Kazinform reported.

Kazakhstan increased export of its goods to the Customs Union member countries, Kazakh Economic Development and Trade Minister Kairat Kelimbetov said today in Astana, Kazinform reported.
Foreign trade volume with the Customs Union countries grew by 42.6 percent, including 53.3 percent export rise and 43.0 percent import increase," Kelimbetov said.
"For the past nine months the country's export to Russia increased by 48 percent," he added.

Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan increased by 38 percent in January-August 2011 compared to the same period of 2010 and amounted to $79.7 billion, according to customs statistics.
Kazakh export in this period increased by 45.6 percent to $ 56.7 billion, while imports rose by 22.3 percent to $23 billion.
Kazakhstan supplies products to more than 120 countries.
