Azerbaijani population's nominal income ups by 19 percent per year

The nominal income of the population in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.713.6 manat in January-October, which is 17.4 percent more than the same period of 2010, the State Statistics Committee told Trend.

Real cash income amounted to 2.497.9 manat with a growth of 18.6 percent.
The nominal cash income amounted to 24.538.6 billion manat in January-October, which is 19 percent more than the figure of the last year. Real cash income amounted to 22.588.2 billion manat with a growth of 120.2 percent.

The population directed 65.8 percent of personal income to purchase goods and services, 7.9 percent - payment of taxes, social insurance and mandatory dues, and 24.4 percent - the accumulation of capital during the reported period.

The average monthly salary in Azerbaijan in January-October amounted to 355.1 manat, which is 9 percent more than the same period of 2010.

The highest salary was recorded in the extractive industries, in the spheres of finance, information and communications, scientific and technological activities, as well as in the construction sector.

The official exchange rate is 0.7865 manat to $1.
