Georgian railway incomes up 20 percent

The incomes of the Georgian Railways Ltd. increased by 20 percent over first 9 months of 2011. This is the total income, while the incomes from transportation of cargoes increased by 23 percent, the company reported.

The company accentuates the growth of incomes from transportation of either dry cargoes or fluid cargoes.

As the company reported, its net profit in January-September 2011 reached to 144.5 million lari (1.66 lari is equivalent to $1). The net profit of the Georgian Railways Ltd. in the respective period of last year was only 64.5 million lari.
