State support for business in Kazakhstan makes up 21-23 percent

The state support for business in Kazakhstan makes up 21-23 percent of the total financial support to business, the Chairman of the Business Development Committee under Kazakh Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Kairat Aitekenov said, Kazakh Prime Minister's web site reported.
"During the years of independence a strong and advanced dialogue between government and business was established in Kazakhstan," Aitekenov said
Ten years ago, the government support for business was 2-3 percent and included only credits provided by banks.
A number of state programs on business support are implemented in Kazakhstan. These programs include grant providing, expense reimbursement to exporters, export support services and export transactions funding.
