In November, tariffs for transport sector services increased by 0.4 per cent compared to October, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend on Tuesday.
In November the average tariffs for transportation of 10 tons of freight per kilometre by railway within the country decreased by 25 per cent. In turn, tariffs for freight brought into the country by railway, transit goods and goods sent from the country increased by 5.1, 8.1 and 21.2 per cent respectively.
In total in November a 6.6 per cent increase was observed in tariffs for international passenger transportation by railway.
Moreover, in November tariffs for transportation of a ton of freight by air on the CIS countries decreased by 3.3 per cent. Tariffs for passenger transportation by air to far abroad countries increased by 3.3 per cent and to the CIS countries by 3.9 per cent and a tariff for the transportation of a ton of cargo by sea increased by 6.5 per cent.
In November tariffs for oil transportation via pipelines increased by 0.4 per cent compared to October.
