Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 25 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /
A new project funded by the EU was presented in Tbilisi.
The Georgian quality infrastructure's approach to European practice is a condition for formalizing an agreement on a comprehensive free trade between Georgia and the EU.
The project will pave the way to introduce an estimation system according to international standards. It will be possible to determine how product and service quality meets acceptable safety standards.
The Georgian accreditation center will establish criteria and conduct research.
The German-Latvian consortium will be also involved in the project.
