Georgia's trade turnover hit 9.247 billion in 2011 or 36 percent more compared to the figure of 2010, Georgian government said.
According to the government, Georgia's export increased by 39 percent, while country's import rose by 35 percent during this period.
The main products exported by Georgia in 2011 are motor cars, ferro-alloys, fertilizers, nuts and ferrous waste. The main imported products are petroleum, motor cars, natural gas, pharmaceuticals and wheat.
Georgia cooperated mainly with Turkey, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, China and Germany in trade in 2011.
