Registration of vehicles decreased by 4.4 percent in Turkey in November 2011 compared to the same month of 2010, Turkish Statistics Institute's report on its website says on Thursday.
A total of 85,960 transport vehicles were registered during this period, 54 percent of which - passenger cars, 20.9 percent - trucks, 12.3 percent - motorcycles and 6 percent tractors.
Registration of vehicles dropped by 6.2 percent in November compared to the previous month.
In January-November 2011, the country registered a total of 1.120 million vehicles. During this period, the number of cars crossed off the register, hit 173,592 units.
