Arrival of two flights from Istanbul and one from Aktau to Baku is delayed, Heydar Aliyev International Airport representative told Trend Tuesday.
Flight J2 218 from Aktau (arrival time - 2:50 am) and J2 078 (arrival time - 3:30 am) and TK 338 (arrival time - 4:10 am) from Istanbul are delayed due to bad weather conditions at the departure points.
Departure of the flight J2 218 from Aktau is delayed until 09:00. The airport has no information yet on the arrival of aircrafts from Istanbul.
As many as 184 flights were cancelled in Istanbul because of the strong snowfall on Monday. 34 of the flights are international. Snowfall began in Istanbul on Sunday evening.
The Istanbul authorities urge local citizens not to use without emergency individual transport during the next two days.
Significant part of Turkey has recently become in the power of cold weather and snowfall and stoppages in transport communication were observed in many provinces.
