Taxpayer service centers to be established in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan will begin the process of establishing taxpayer service centers on the basis of tax terminals from Feb. 1, 2012, the Taxes Ministry's statement published in the "Taxes" newspaper said.

According to the information, this will expand the range of services rendered to the population, including electronic services and increase the effectiveness of computer terminals.

The documents regulating the service centers' activity will be prepared within a month. The conditions will be created to render necessary electrical and other services. The proposals on the optimal number of employees will be prepared to ensure the normal activity of the centers.

About 30 terminals operate in the country today. It is planned to bring their number to 55 till 2013, five of which will operate in Baku, two - in Sumgait and Ganja, 46 - in other regions. In 2012, the ministry plans to open 12, and in 2013 - ten terminals.
