No problem is expected in the activity of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku during the day despite the worsened weather conditions, the airport told Trend on Tuesday.

According to the report, at present, dispatch and arrival of flights is carried out in normal mode.

"It is expected that the situation will be normal in the afternoon," the report said.

According to weather forecasts, snow, northwest wind 10 - 15 m /sec, sometimes 18 m/sec is expected in Baku and Absheron Peninsula on Tuesday, Feb.7, while wind will hit 20 m/sec in the evening. Air temperature at night and day will be 0 - 3 degrees below zero. By the evening of Feb.7, air temperature will be 5 - 7 degrees below zero. Ice-slick will be observed on the roads.

On the night of Feb.8 and Wednesday afternoon the weather will further deteriorate, it will snow, and gusty northwest winds will hit 25 - 30 m /sec at times.
