AtaBank widens POS-terminal net

Necessary measures are being done in republic for the purpose of executing the decree of country president dated May 23, 2011 about stimulating the cashless operations and limiting operations in cash. "AtaBank" OJSC, given the increase in the volume of cashless payments and taking into account the growth prospects, has decided to intensify its activities in this sphere.

The Bank sets a task for itself to increase its network of POS-terminals in several times during 2012. So, as of 15 February the number of POS-terminals exceeded 1,000. Compared to early 2012 an increase made up 65%. "AtaBank" OJSC installs its POS-terminals free of charge and requires no commission for services.

"AtaBank" OJSC also started talks with world's second largest international payment system MasterCard Europe Sprl. Bank expects its completion this year. Connection to a new payment system will ensure new opportunities for our customers and a greater degree of choice.
