"Financial police has been eliminated as a body discrediting itself," Babanov said.
The government members also approved an order of "Forming a new state service for combating economic offenses under the Kyrgyz government".
"On Feb.2, a commission on reforming the financial police was set up, which found that through reorganization and reduction it is impossible to reduce corruption, and the commission recommended eliminating the financial police," Babanov said.
