Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, March 19 / Trend H. Hasanov /
Private enterprises equipped with advanced technologies and producing high-quality, export-oriented products from local raw materials have been commissioned thanks to preferential loans and massive state support in Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary state news service said today.
'Representatives of private business play more significant roles in such important sectors of the national economy such as agricultural complexes and the construction industry as well as the textile and chemical industries, construction materials, foodstuffs, consumer goods, trade and services and logistics', the information said.
Creative campus buildings were built and commissioned in the capital by private construction companies and a number of modern schools, kindergartens, sports facilities, palaces of culture, comfortable accommodation and other welfare and cultural facilities have developed in different regions of the country.
It is stressed that the state is aimed at further legislative support of private business, ensuring legal guarantees for those engaged in individual activities, providing them with tax, customs and other privileges.
The matter rests in such issues as the allocation of land to entrepreneurs, providing them with guarantees for the use of allocated land plots, promoting businessmen's charity activity, support for innovative business methods, creating new jobs and introduction of new technology.
The modernisation aspects will be strengthened by supporting small business. The centre of gravity will shift to the manufacturing sector and support for the innovation activities of private companies and individual enterprises.
