Public opinion will be taken into account in planning city building work, Deputy Chairman of State Committee on City Building and Architecture Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov told Trend on Monday.
"The parliament is considering a new Town Planning Code, which clearly spelled out, when, how and in what form should the public be informed. The whole procedure of providing information for public, as well as responsiveness to public opinion in carrying out these works will be assigned legally in the document." Dovletkhanov said.
Dovletkhanov noted that it is a good procedure that meets Western standards.
"After that, all documents will be transparent and there won't be any reasons for the occurrence of false rumors. We have opened a separate site for plan of the Greater Baku Regional Development, and currently working in the same direction with respect to our other work. Taking into account that there is no appropriate legislative framework everything is done at the level of pilot projects," Dovletkhanov said.
