Azerbaijani Texnika Bank’s assets exceed $733 mln

As of April 1, the assets of the Azerbaijani Texnika Bank amounted to 576.25 million manat, decreased by 8.43 percent per quarter, the bank said today.

Ad of the first quarter, the revenue on assets (ROA) was 0.07 percent, and on capital (ROE) - 0,6 percent.

The authorized capital of Texnika Bank amounted to 68.32 million manat, and the total capital increased by 0.9 percent to 100 million manat.

Deposit portfolio declined by 23.67 percent to 258.54 million manat as of April 1, including deposits of physical entities amounted to 185.34 million manat. The bank's total liabilities amounted to 484.66 million manat.

The bank's loan portfolio declined by 7.89 percent, amounting to 400.6 million manat per quater, where the proportion of bad loans (with the delay in payments over 90 days) reached 11.26 percent (45.09 million manat). Texnikabank issued consumer loans worth 27.69 million manat.

Total income of the bank during the reporting period amounted to 15.86 million manat, including interest income - 13.44 million manat, non-interest income - 2.42 million manat. The bank's expenditure amounted to 15.32 million manat.

The bank's profit amounted to 538,070 manat and net profit (after tax) - 457,870 manat.
The Bank has the most extensive branch network among private banks in the country, and today has 35 branches and 19 offices. Texnikabank opened its first office outside the country - in Istanbul (Turkey) in 2011.

Texnika Bank has been operating in the country since 1993 and has been a wholly owned Azerbaijani bank till 2007. Currently, the bank's main shareholder is World Wines holding 75 per cent of its shares. Chairman of the Bank's Observation Board Etibar Aliyev and U.S. Kazimir Investment Caspian Fund hold 15 per cent and 10 per cent of the shares, respectively.
