Consumer confidence index increases in Turkey

The consumer confidence index in Turkey increased by 0.75 percent in March compared to the previous month, the Turkish Statistics Institute reports on Monday.
The consumer confidence index in March was 93.9 points.
The index of purchasing power in the country in March 2012 increased by 0.9 percent and amounted to 91.15 points compared to the previous month.
The increased consumer confidence index in Turkey demonstrates the current and future purchasing power, the general economic situation and population's employment.
