Dubai Investment Corporation to pay second visit to Azerbaijan

The Dubai Investment Corporation is planning to send a second delegation to Azerbaijan in the near future. Areas of cooperation will be specified during the visit, the corporation told Trend on Wednesday.
"Our first visit was aimed at becoming familiar with Azerbaijan and identifying promising sectors for cooperation. We will further discuss the details of cooperation during the second visit," a corporation spokepeson said.
The corporation has identified tourism as a promising area for cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The delegation visited a number of corporate investment companies and hotels operating in Gabala and familiarised themselves with the current state of tourism in the city during a visit last week.
'We have held a series of meetings with officials and businessmen in Azerbaijan, and show interest in cooperating with the country," the spokesperson said.
Previously the director of the Dubai Investment Corporation Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani said Azerbaijan is a country with rich possibilities and the Dubai Investment Corporation is interested in the activities there.
Al-Shaibani called tourism, manufacturing, energy and agriculture among the priority sectors for investment in Azerbaijan.
