Iran has opened a 100-million euro credit line for Iranian entities to invest in Tunisia, the Iranian ambassador to Tunisia announced on Saturday.

"During the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi to Tunisia last week, the two sides emphasized on boosting bilateral trade and broadening political and cultural relations," the ambassador, Peyman Jebelli, told the IRNA News Agency.

Iran will soon dispatch a large commercial delegation, headed by the chamber of commerce head, Mohammad Nahavandian, to Tunisia, Jebelli added.

The two sides are determined to put almost 50 previously signed agreements into effect as soon as possible, he said, adding that a direct flight is projected to be launched to support tourism sectors of the two countries.
