The international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia amounted to $2.793.4 billion as of May 31, 2012.

The international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia amounted to $2.793.4 billion as of May 31, 2012.

This figure is $5.1 million less than the index as of April 30, 2012, National Bank of Georgia told Trend on Thursday.

International reserves in foreign currency amounted to $2.575.9 billion, including those placed in securities - $1.513.4 billion and in the accounts of foreign banks and the IMF - $1.062.6 billion.

Amount of funds placed in the SDR is $217.4 million and the reserve position in the IMF - $15,100.

Since 2012, international reserves of the National Bank of Georgia decreased by $24.9 million.
