Uzbek company ups net profit by 16.8 per cent

The Uzprommashimpeks Company, specialising in organising the export of industrial and agricultural products, as well as the import of technological equipment, received 4.566 billion soums of net profit as of 2011 compared to 3.911 billion soums in the previous year (an increase of 16.8 per cent), the company's annual report said.

According to the report, the company's trade turnover last year amounted to $874.9 million. Net proceeds from selling goods rose by 31.1 per cent - up to 11.773 billion soums.

Uzprommashimpeks's assets decreased by 2.8 per cent to 620.322 billion soums, long term assets increased by 3.4 per cent up to 45.225 billion soums and current assets decreased by 3.2 per cent to 575.096 billion soums.

The company's own funds increased by 14.6 per cent up to 30.599 billion soums, the liabilities decreased by 3.5 per cent up to 589.722 billion soums.

Uzprommashimpeks Company has been operating since January 1991. It runs under the auspices of the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade.
