Azerbaijani Unibank has launched a new service that consists of loan repayment via its ATMs, available for the all holders of plastic cards, the bank's press release says on Monday.
"To repay a loan, one should only has to get his/her card registered using a special ATM menu and enter the code of the loan agreement with Unibank. The registration will be confirmed via an SMS sent to the client's mobile phone number and the blocking of AZN 1 in the subscriber balance. Then, the will be deducted from the client's card account monthly in strict accordance with the pertaining loan repayment schedule," the press release says.
Every withdrawal will be reflected in the card balance immediately upon completion. Thanks to the new service, every client of Unibank can make a positive credit history because of the opportunity to repay outstanding credit debts at any time during the day without having to call at the branches of the Bank.
It should be mentioned that such transactions cover all the kinds of cards issued by any bank in the country. No added fee is charged for repayment of loans using the ATMs of Unibank.
The official exchange rate is 0.7856 manat to $1 on July 2.
