ADB to provide $80 million to Georgia

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Georgia have signed the second credit agreement in the frame of the investment project for the development of sustainable urban transport.

Document was signed by a representative of ADB Bank in Georgia Keith Giuliani and from the Georgian side - Finance Minister Dmitry Gvindadze and executive director of municipal development Levan Chichinadze.

A long-term soft loan of $80 million will be allocated to Georgia in accordance with this agreement. The project provides the construction of a new highway Rustavi-Tbilisi and bridge over the Aragvi in Mtskheta.

The implementation of these infrastructure projects will help to create new jobs and employ the population.
