It is proposed to develop nationalexport strategyin Kazakhstan to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic enterprises Deputy Chairman of the National Agency for Export and Investment Kaznex Invest Meyerzhan Maykenov said.
"On the eve of accession to the WTO, we need to strengthen and revise trade policy for the development of the competitiveness of our businesses to compete in foreign markets. We now propose to develop Kazakhstan's national export strategy following the example of international experience," Maykenov said.
Maykenov noted that processes in global trade will be analyzed in the frame of this strategy and the necessary support to domestic producers will be provided.
In addition, the national export strategy should provide clear guidance to promote the direction of Kazakh goods, tools of promotion and indicate the size of the state support of export-oriented enterprises.
