Three decks, weighing around 3,000 tons, have been installed at Iran's Reshadat oilfield, located in the Persian Gulf, the Shana news agency reported.

Two other decks will be installed by July next year, the report added. Iranian Sadra Company has inked a contract with Offshore Oil Company, worth $230 million, to build the five decks.
Iran has doubled output at its Reshadat oilfield to over 20,000 barrels a day after drilling at least two new wells, Press TV reported in April, citing Iranian Offshore Oil Company's managing director Mahmoud Zirakchianzadeh.
The Reshadat oilfield located in the Persian Gulf is expected to produce 40,000 barrels a day once the second phase of its development plan is complete by March 2013. The offshore field's target output is 76,000 barrels a day.
