In January-July 2012 the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has provided receipt to the State budget of 3.815 billion manat of tax payments, the ministry said on Tuesday.
Proceeds on profit tax amounted to 42.5 percent of total tax levies, on the value added tax - 21.9 per cent, income tax - 11.9 percent, excise tax - 7.1 percent and other taxes - 16.6 percent.
Non-oil sector provided a receipt to the state budget of 1.942 billion manat, which is 16 percent higher compared to January-July last year.
In January-July 43,429 taxpayers passed the state registration. The number of individuals registered in an electronic form from July 1, 2011 to August 1, 2012 amounted to 36,668 people. The total number of taxpayers as of August 1 totaled 456,774 people.
During January-July 2012 the proportion of tax returns filed in electronic form, was 90.8 percent.
