New airline enters Georgian market

Kuwait's Gryphon Airlines has entered the Georgian market. According to the airline, the first flight will be carried out from Batumi on Aug. 18.

The airline also carries out flights to the Middle East, Africa, Central and South Asia, and Europe. Its head offices are located in the United States, Austria and Kuwait.

Flights are carried out by Boeing 727-200s.

At present, 24 airlines operate on Georgian aviation market. Two are Georgian.
