On September 12-14, Almaty will host a meeting of the ministers of trade of landlocked developing countries, as well as global thematic meeting on international trade, trade facilitation and trade promotion, the Kazakh Ministry of Economic Development and Trade said on Monday.
"The event will be attended by ministers of 30 landlocked countries, all UN member states, including transit developing countries and representatives of international organizations," the statement says.
These activities are aimed to develop common positions of the developing countries, reflecting their need for trade negotiations, as well as strategies, new activities and actions to further enhance the capacity of these countries.
