Azerbaijan takes part in international business forum in Georgia

An international business forum organized by the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture was held in Anaklia. Delegations of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia were received by Minister of Agriculture Zaza Gorozia. Forum members were welcomed by ambassador of Latvia to Georgia Elita Gavele.

An international business forum organized by the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture was held in Anaklia. Delegations of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia were received by Minister of Agriculture Zaza Gorozia. Forum members were welcomed by ambassador of Latvia to Georgia Elita Gavele.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture Eter Kamarauli presented the report on export and investment opportunities of agriculture of Georgia, and Deputy Minister Iya Janashia made a presentation about the export potential and market diversification of Georgian wine.

"The forum, along with the foreigners, was attended by local businessmen, which is very important for the partnership and their deepening. By this event the Ministry of Agriculture contributes to attraction of investment and expansion of trade in the agricultural sector, as well as in other sectors of the economy," Zaza Gorozia said.

The forum was also attended by Minister of Economy Vera Kobalia, Deputy minister Ketevan Bochorishvili and Head of the National Tourism Agency of Georgia Maia Sidamonidze.

The businessmen held group meetings and a memorandum on cooperation between Izmir (Turkey) and Anaklia was signed as part of the forum.
