Azerbaijan, Turkey discuss labor cooperation (PHOTO)

The second meeting of a working group established under the seventh meeting of the Joint Standing Committee was held in Baku to discuss cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in labor and social protection. The Azerbaijani and Turkish deputy labor ministers Natig Mammadov and Namik Ata attended the working group.

The second meeting of a working group established under the seventh meeting of the Joint Standing Committee was held in Baku to discuss cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in labor and social protection. The Azerbaijani and Turkish deputy labor ministers Natig Mammadov and Namik Ata attended the working group.

According to the Azerbaijani Labor Ministry, social security, employment, migration, joint activities, and legislation were discussed at the meeting.

"The participants stressed the importance of compliance with labor legislation in the labor protection and safety for research and exchange of specialists," a statement said.

The parties have agreed to cooperate on such issues as the mutual recognition of professional diplomas, exchange of specialists, coordination of professional standards, mutual exchange of information in the field of employment, etc.

The participants stressed the friendly and fraternal relations in all areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
