Gold exports from Turkey to Iran increase

Gold exports from Turkey to Iran increased by 2 percent to 8.46 billion during the eight months of this year compared to $ 4.8 billion in the second quarter, the Turkish Statistics Institute said today.

Gold exports from Turkey to Iran increased by 2 percent to 8.46 billion during the eight months of this year compared to $ 4.8 billion in the second quarter, the Turkish Statistics Institute said today.

Gold exports from Turkey to Iran in the second quarter of 2012 totaled $4.8 billion compared to $1 billion in the first quarter.

Of the total export volume of metal in the second quarter, gold bullion accounted for $3.2 billion.

The trade turnover between the countries is growing rapidly due to the export of gold.
The total volume of Turkish exports to Iran in 2011 amounted to $8.4 billion.
