Kazakhstan and Hungary discussed the current state of bilateral relations and long term cooperation, the ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said on Tuesday.

Kazakh-Hungarian business forum was held by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Budapest together with the Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of National Economy of Hungary.

During the forum, Hungarian businessmen were invited to participate in projects under the State Programme of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development.

During the forum, the Embassy submitted a report on the current economic situation in Kazakhstan - the development and business opportunities and made ​​a presentation on Investment opportunities in Kazakhstan.

The inauguration of the Kazakh-Hungarian branch of the Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, established in accordance with the agreement at the highest level was held during the forum. Executive director of the oil and gas company MOL Sandor Fashimon was appointed the head of the branch that includes more than 40 major Hungarian companies.
