Prices for exported goods increase in Kazakhstan

Export prices in Kazakhstan increased by 1.7 percent in July 2012 compared to June, the Kazakh Statistics Agency said on Thursday.

According to the agency, the price of imported goods decreased by 0.8 percent in July.

Export price increase was observed for oil - by 17.9 percent, coal - by 7.9 percent. Aluminum exports decreased by 4.7 per cent, lead, and zinc - by 4.3 percent, ferrous metals - by 4.2 percent, gas condensate - three per cent, ferro-alloys - 2.3 percent, copper - 1 , 7 percent. Tobacco prices rose by 6.2 percent, grain - by 1.9 percent. Cotton prices decreased by 5.8 percent, wool - three percent.

Revenues from imported wood decreased by 8.2 percent, fish - by 4.4 percent, poultry - by 3.2 percent, pasta - 2.2 percent, margarine - 1.7 per cent, tea - 1, 4 percent, sugar - by 0.4 percent. Meat products price increased by 4.6 percent, vegetable oil - by 1.6 percent, dairy products - by 0.8 percent.
