Turkey's exports to Azerbaijan rose to $213.5 million in August 2012 compared to $191 million in August last year, the Turkish Council of Exporters said today.
Thus, Azerbaijan's share in Turkey's exports amounted to 1.6 percent.
The range of goods exported by Turkey to Azerbaijan (including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic), includes wooden goods (to the amount of $22.2 million), cement ($10.3 million), jewelery ($5.7 million), iron and steel goods (15.7 million), non-ferrous metals ($ 2.6 million), leather goods ($752,000), other products ($484,000), energy ($21.9 million), carpets ($ 3.1 million), chemical products ($ 43 million), machinery ($ 18 million), textile ($1.2 million).
Turkish goods were mainly exported to Germany to the amount of $978 million, Iraq - $833 million and Great Britain - $ 630 million in June 2012.
