Volgograd oblast of the Russian Federation invites Azerbaijani companies to participate in construction projects in the territory of the oblast, Volgograd oblast governor Sergei Bozhenov said at the Azerbaijani-Russian business forum on Monday.
"Market of the social housing construction in the oblast is free. There is small offer in the secondary housing market, which cannot be said about the primary housing. Today there is a need for the construction of 2,000-3,000 new apartments per year. We welcome all who will fill this niche," Bozhenov said.
In addition, he said, developers of regional hotels are exempt from all taxes.
"We invite companies to participate in the construction of housing, hotels, highways and tunnels," the governor said.
According to Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev, this information will be brought to all construction companies in Azerbaijan.
"Construction business in Azerbaijan is rapidly developing. Azerbaijani construction companies implement large-scale projects, not only in the country but also abroad, and have access to the European market," he said.
