The reserves of Turkish Central Bank increased by 8.6 billion dollars in August of 2012 in comparison with the previous month, amounting to 108.7 billion dollars.

The reserves of Turkish Central Bank increased by 8.6 billion dollars in August of 2012 in comparison with the previous month, amounting to 108.7 billion dollars, the Central Bank report published on Friday said.

Central Bank reserves in foreign currency has increased by 7.9 billion dollars, amounting to 91.3 billion dollars.

According to the report, Central Bank's reserve position has increased by 2 million dollars, amounting to 172 million dollars. The gold reserves of Central Bank in August amounted to 15.7 billion dollars against 15 billion dollars in July of 2012.

According to the Central Bank, the amount of net outflows from Turkey in August amounted to 13.9 billion dollars.
