Tariffs for natural gas sold to the public increased by 14 percent, central heating and hot water - 9 percent, cold water supply - by 8.4 percent, electricity - by 7 percent in Uzbekistan from Oct. 1.
The previous increase of tariffs for these kinds of public services in Uzbekistan was observed in April this year, when the price for one cubic meter of natural gas supplied to the population, if there is counter, was increased also by 14 percent, electricity - by seven percent, water - 10 percent, hot water and heating - by 15.5 percent.
Thus, from the beginning of the year tariffs for hot water and heating in Uzbekistan increased by 25.9 percent, natural gas - by 28 per cent, cold water - by 18.4 percent and electricity - by 14 percent.
