Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct 9 /Trend J.Nasibova/

The Central Credit Register (CCR) plans to improve credit reports in connection with the way payments in for loans will be reflected, CCR service head Elchin Habibov told Trend.

He noted that a special new model showing payment of the loan by months will be launched on the basis of data provided by credit institutions.

"It will enable credit institutions to better assess the attitude of borrower to the payment of a loan during the last 24 months, as well as provide better terms to borrowers with excellent histories of credit payments," Habibov said.

The possibility of reducing the cost of information request from the CCR is also considered among the planned changes.

"The issue today is under discussion, and it is planned to reduce prices to request information from the credit institutions," he said.

CCR began operating in March 2005. Today, the CCR focused on collecting information about the credits issued by banks and non-banking credit organizations

The official exchange rate on October 9 is 0,7851 AZN/USD.
